Zaidu Sanusi was in action as FC Porto edged Lazio to progress into the round of 16 on Thursday.
The Super Eagles left back played all the minutes of the second leg tie which ended 2-2 at the Stadio Olympico.
Sanusi was booked for a foul on Lazio attacker in the second half. Overall, he had a fantastic performance for the Portuguese giants.
Ciro Immobile scored the opener for Lazio in the 19th minute, before Mehdi Taremi equalised for Porto a minute after half hour mark.
In the 68th, Mateus Uribe put Porto in front for the first time in the game, but Canilo Caltadi denied them victory as he equalised for Lazio in the added time.
However, the result was enough to Sela Porto’s passage to next round with 4-3 aggregate score. The Portuguese secured a 2-1 first leg home win.
