The group, Northern Youth APC for Tinubu and Shettima 2023 has thrown its weight behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, saying that the duo is better positioned to use win the 2023 presidential election.
Speaking during the Solidarity tour with their Christian counterparts in Kaduna at the weekend, the person who introduced Solomon Atabo said that Tinubu is the one to beat because of his nationalism.
Atabo said that Tinubu and Shettima should be optimistic as the Christian youth living in the north will give full support and vote during the presidential election for APC.
He said, “With the choice of Shettima, a sensible, liberal minded Nigerian, I am more confident that APC can achieve more.
“Both will build on the foundations laid by the Buhari administration.”
He also thanked the deputy spokesperson of the party, Barr Hannatu Musawa for his efforts to unite the party by bringing the youth together.
He said, “Tinubu’s support for democracy in his work as governor of Lagos State is very evident.”
However, Atabo said that efforts need to be made to convince the majority of Nigerians about the great development that Tinubu is representing President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Tinubu is a disruptive, courageous, liberal and independent person; with national characteristics.
“He is a man of ability, confidence and ability, and this quality makes him stand out from other presidential candidates.
“The only thing that is important is to get more Nigerians to see the importance of electing someone who does well,” he said.
He added that Tinubu is being tested and is confident that if he emerges he will revive the country’s economy.
