Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said it was not easy to watch the Premier League table after his side lost 2-1 to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night.
The Reds are winless in the Premier League this season.
Klopp’s men are seven points behind surprise leaders Arsenal.
When asked how easy it was to avoid looking at the table, Klopp replied: “If you want to be a bit perverted then you look at it. It’s not the prettiest thing to look at, it is clear but it is our situation.
“Listen, we can talk about anything, but in the end, I saw tonight again. During the week, it’s not easy. We had 15 senior outfield players in training.
“Obviously it’s not cool, but for tonight’s game, I like the lineup. I also saw some good performances tonight, obviously not good enough to win the match. But I think we all know that if we scored the equalizer in any situation, it wouldn’t be the biggest surprise in the world. It’s a deserved draw after a start where United looked sharper than us, but it wasn’t [for] too long and in the situation, a bit expected.
