Everton manager Frank Lampard has hailed Alex Iwobi’s “fantastic” performance against Nottingham Forest in their Premier League home game on Saturday.
Everton drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest at Goodison Park.
Brennan Johnson scored in the 81st minute to put Forest ahead, while Demarai Gray equalized seven minutes later for the Toffees.
Frank Lampard hailed Iwobi who played the full game in his 100th appearance for Everton in which he scored seven goals and made eight assists.

“I thought Alex Iwobi was fantastic” Evertonfc.com quoted Lampard as saying.
“Receive it, control it and cross the lines and pass well.
“The movements of the back three and the angles trying to play, especially in the early parts of the game, were really good.”
Iwobi has scored 10 goals in 58 games for the Nigeria Super Eagles.
Everton are currently 16th in the Premier League with one point after matchday three.
The Toffees will face Fleetwood Town in the second round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday August 23 before traveling to Brentford for their next Premier League fixture on Saturday August 27, 2022.
