England midfielder, Declan Rice believes the Three Lions must win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The FIFA World Cup will be held from November 20 to December 18 this year.
England’s Three Lions have been impressive in recent years, with the team finishing fourth at the Russia 2018 World Cup and reaching the Euro 2020 final.
Rice believes public expectations will be high for the England team.
“Yeah, I think the expectation is the expectation and the demand is that we have to deliver,” Rice said as quoted by thesun.co.uk.
“We just need to win something because of the players we have and the current experience.
“We are all expected to be together in one team and win something, that’s true.
“There have been huge signs of improvement since Gareth arrived.
“The World Cup semi-finals, the Nations League semi-finals, the Euro final, now this World Cup is coming. We know what is required now in a tournament – but that will come down to always win or lose.
“That’s what the public will call it, so we know it’s up to us to win.”
England are in Group B alongside Iran, United States of America and Wales.
