According to him, the Sports Book of Record is a compendium chronicling the achievements of Nigerian sportsmen over the years. “It should serve as reference research material for athletes and the younger generation,” he said.

Dare highlighted the terms of reference of the Committee, among others, putting in place all the necessary logistics for a successful launch; identify key Nigerian sports players and organizations who will sponsor the book and suggest names of sportsmen who will receive meritorious awards at the launch.
