The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has sent the names of six commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and subsequent confirmation.

Among those nominated are two former commissioners who had resigned their positions and contested for the House of Representatives tickets of their constituencies under the Peoples Democratic Party, but lost out.
